Information
The Lakeshore Weavers promote and maintain the knowledge and practice of hand weaving through access to studio looms, library, and hands-on instruction by experienced weavers. For more information on our guild history and philosophy, please see the "About Us" tab in the Navigation section.
Meetings
The guild meets on the second Thursday evening of the month (Sept-June) at the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre, 176 Lakeshore Road, in Pointe-Claire, Qc., for group meetings, "show & tell", problem solving and guest speakers on fiber subjects. For more information on our monthly meetings, please see the "Events" tab in the Navigation section.
Membership
Membership is open to all weavers who wish to participate in the guild, as per our established by-laws and membership fees. For more information or to join, please contact us.
Projects
A wide variety of team projects are undertaken regularly in our Guild room, covering a range of techniques. Results are presented during monthly meetings and offered to the public at "Open House" and Sales events. For more information on our current and past projects, please see the "Projects" tab in the Navigation section.
